Call to Musicians

YesBC, invites high schools from across the Capital Regional District to take part in a cultural exchange with a mission to change our culture.

We recognize the power of the arts in advancing social change, and this special celebration for youth offers a unique opportunity to showcase performing and we recognize the power of the arts in advancing social change, and this special celebration for youth offers a unique opportunity to showcase young, musical talent. Student performers and artists currently attending school, a distance learning program, or home-schooled in grades 8 to 12 within the Capital Regional District are eligible to take part in the following student cultural opportunities:


CALL TO BANDS & MUSICIANS: If you are a student performer, band or ensemble, you are invited to submit a 3 song demo for consideration (total time of the full demo not to exceed 10 minutes). Submissions will be juried by a panel of industry professionals, and successful bands/musicians/ensembles will be invited to showcase their material at the Off-the-Grid Music and Art Festival.
